Hi all! It gives me great pleasure to invite you to “Rudra” - the first production of Art Uncurated on 8th April 2023 at Theater Zaal, CREA, Amsterdam.
Art Uncurated is a knowledge sharing and networking initiative designed for performers, mentors, budding artists and the general public for sustaining and celebrating performing arts. What does it mean to be an artist in a rapidly evolving technological and cultural landscape? What role does the contemporary audience play in shaping and preserving global art forms? Art Uncurated aims to open dialogue among all stakeholders of the society connected with various facets of performing arts. Through its dynamic, international and exclusive programs and activities, Art Uncurated aspires to create a novel dimension for artist-artist & artist-audience interaction.

About the event
Rudra is a celebration of the vibrancy, vitality and versatility of Indian Classical Music and
Dance. Art Uncurated embarks on a unique journey to bring you some of the finest artists in
The Netherlands with captivating performances in Classical Vocal, Tabla, Violin, Sitar and
Kathak. The production is based on “Rudra” - the supreme lord of the universe who
perpetuates the cycle of genesis, life and eternal rest. Come and experience the shades and
sounds of the centuries old musical and dance traditions set in a contemporary Kathak
narrative.
